Ashley Judd is back on her feet. Just five months after nearly losing her leg in a harrowing accident, the actress, 53, is able to walk again, according to her latest social media posts.

Ashley Judd is getting back to her old self. The actress, 53, announced “with reverence and quiet awe” that she is walking again, five months after shattering her leg in a Congolese rainforest.

Ashley Judd posted a video of herself walking on Instagram. This comes months after she shattered her leg in four places. "We expected my foot - if ever - to *begin* to move in one year," she wrote.
