The president-elect on Sunday said his TikTok executive order would "extend the period of time before the law's prohibitions take effect."

Trump announced the decision in a post on his Truth Social account as millions of TikTok users in the U.S. awoke to discover they could no longer access the TikTok app or platform. Google and Apple removed the app from their digital stores to comply with a federal law that required them to do so if TikTok parent company ByteDance didn't sell its U.

“He’s single-handedly changed the party,” said Sen. Jim Banks, R-Ind. Banks was sworn in as a member of the House as Trump arrived in Washington in 2017, when Banks said, Trump often have to deal with Republican pushback.

Donald Trump's family members including his eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner are expected to attend the inauguration.

His release of the meme coin, $Trump, comes as he prepares to take office on Monday as 47th president of the US. The venture was co-ordinated by CIC Digital LLC - an affiliate of the Trump Organization - which has previously sold Trump-branded shoes and fragrances.
