Sony has announced it's very nearly time to bid a fond farewell to those PS5 themes it released in celebration of PlayStation's 30th anniversary last year. But the good news is it has plans to bring them back following a "fantastic response" from players.

Last month, Sony sprung a surprise as the company rolled out new classic themes for the PS5 to honor PlayStation's 30th anniversary. Unfortunately, that was always planned as a limited-time thing, and that time ends tomorrow, January 31.

The legacy PlayStation anniversary themes for the PS5 will disappear in February 2025, but SIE has also promised to bring them back later on.
