The surprise of the Xbox Developer Direct this week was the announcement of Ninja Gaiden 4, and according to Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer, it's been a long time in the making. In the same chat with Gamertag Radio, he revealed how Xbox was actually knocking on doors around "six-seven years ago" about this project:

Players are having a blast with the newly shadow-dropped Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, but it's come with a surprising issue for Game Pass players.

In fact, it's a rare occurrence for a title on Game Pass to even have PS5 controller support since a lot of them don't have allowances for different button glyphs to appear on screen. Thankfully, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black's settings allow you to completely swap out the typical X, Y, B, and A buttons for PlayStation's.
