OpenAI's CEO says Mark Zuckerberg's Meta has been making 'giant offers' to try and poach the company's staff. 'You know, like a $100 million signing bonus,' Sam Altman says.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says Meta’s lavish signing bonuses won’t build a great A.I. culture, despite Zuckerberg’s intense recruitment blitz.

While Meta had sought to hire "a lot of people" from OpenAI, "so far none of our best people have decided to take them up on that," Sam Altman said.
