Flash floods in Texas killed at least 81 people over the Fourth of July holiday weekend and left others still missing, including children.

Some 27 people, including nine children, have been confirmed dead after flash floods in central Texas, authorities said on Saturday, as rescuers continued a frantic search for survivors including dozens still missing from a girls' summer camp.

The Guadalupe River flooded early July 4 as heavy rains prompted all in the area to evacuate. Additionally, emergency responders are frantically searching

That includes 40 adults and 28 children. There are 10 girls from Camp Mystic who are still missing, along with one counselor.
