Ringo Starr has claimed the original script of a forthcoming Beatles biopic misrepresented his first marriage.

A Beatle turns 85 on July 7 - and is still as fit as a fiddle. Ringo Starr released a new album a few months ago, tours with his band, and was recently seen on the "Simpsons".

The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr is lending some notes for Sam Mendes ‘ biopic on the musician. According to a new interview with the New York Times, Starr and Mendes spent “two days” going over the script “line by line” and Starr “offered extensive notes” in order to make the film more accurate to his personal life and experiences.
